FP Data Analyzer Online Help

The FP Data Analyzer allows you to conveniently acquire, analyze and represent recorded PLC data from inputs, switches, sensors, outputs, internal flags, timers, etc. using all kinds of data types.

From one database, you can use multiple views to represent the data in the most effective way. You can create multiple databases and establish multiple connections to record and analyze data from many, independent PLCs. Best of all, no additional hardware is needed!

The FP Data Analyzer makes it possible to monitor and analyze signal waveform in real time. Long-term recording with auto-saving is available. You can define comprehensive trigger conditions to determine one or more particular events that start or stop recording, e.g. to facilitate identifying sporadic, faulty conditions that are hard to trace. With the pre- and post-trigger function, samples can be stored before and after the trigger condition. Cycle precise monitoring is possible with the array upload feature and a small user program located on the PLC.

The FP Data Analyzer can be connected to any Panasonic PLC by utilizing the integrated MEWNET Manager, for instance via any COM port. Recording and analyzing remote PLCs, sensors, actuators, etc. via LAN or modem is just a matter of seconds. Just open the MEWNET Manager communication setup dialog, select Ethernet or modem and enter your parameters.

In addition, not only PLCs can be analyzed with the FP Data Analyzer! Via the integrated OLE interface, the P400 image processing software can also send samples to the analyzer.
