Updating the FP-I4C BSP version 3.1 when auto-update via USB fails

Alternative upgrade method for BSP Version 3.1 in case the auto-update method fails.

If you are faced with the issue that the USB auto-update process does not work when you try to upgrade, proceed as follows:.
  1. Go to System Settings > Services and check that Autorun scripts from external storage is activated.
  2. Make sure that the format of the USB flash drive is FAT32.
    If your USB flash drive has a capacity of more than 32GB, use the software tool Rufus to format it to FAT32.
  3. Copy the contents of autoupdate.zip to the USB flash drive.
  4. Power off the FP-I4C.
  5. Connect the USB flash drive to the FP-I4C.
  6. Power on the FP-I4C.
