Test your Web pages with the REST API

Before deploying your project, you can do testing directly with your FP‑I4C unit without having to upload any zip files.

In order to test your Web pages, the setting Permitted IP addresses must contain your PC's IP address (or allow all by specifying 0.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.255).

During development, you must use the GET or POST command together with your FP‑I4C unit's IP address and the specified server port, e.g. http://192.168.100.155:2000/plcpost. Once the Web pages have been uploaded to the FP‑I4C unit, plcpost and plcget?DATA can be used without specifying the IP address and server port.

  1. Go to HTTP server and enable the HTTP server function.
  2. To load your Web files, go to Upload Web server files (.zip) (PC -> FP-I4C) and drag a file onto the drag and drop area or select a file with the + icon, and then select the cloud icon to upload the file.

Make sure all files are included in one zip file. The file "index.html" is used as the entry point and must be in the root folder of the zip file.
