Exchange a program between two PLCs

If you need to transfer a running PLC program from one PLC to another, please perform the following steps:

Upload program code from first PLC

1. Create new project

2. Switch to online mode with the first PLC

3. Online > Upload program code and PLC configuration from PLC...

   The program code editor opens with the uploaded program code.

4. If required, make additional modifications in uploaded system register settings

Download program code to second PLC

1. Establish an online connection with the second PLC

2. Open Program code from the Project pane

3. Online > Download program code and PLC configuration to PLC
