Printed objects for project print

Under Extras > Options > Print options > Printed objects for project print you arrange the layout of the page for the printout of objects of a project, such as for lists of variables. You can enter logos and footnotes and set the printing matrix before printing with Object > Print....

NOTE
  • The project print settings are independent from the object print settings with which you can, for example, print the system register settings of a PLC.

  • The project print settings displayed under Extras > Options > Print options > Printed objects for project print are primarily related to the selected objects in main view.

  • The application area defined by each selection may be restricted by the detailed configuration of the items. The items may be configured in the other sheets.

The application area defined by the editor you selected is restricted by the more detailed adjustments you can make under Extras > Options > Print options > POU.

For SFC, LD and FBD you can make even more detailed adjustments under Extras > Options > Print options > Additional options (SFC, LD, FBD).

NOTE
  • Only the objects of the editor/editors selected in the POUs dialog box will be printed.

  • Click OK to finish selecting the project print options.

  • If you want to save the project print options for all your projects, select the global profile. If you want to save the project print options for this project only, select the local profile under Extras > Options > Print options.

  • Select Default to activate the standard settings for your print options. When choosing the Local profile the default values from the Global profile are used.
