Additional errors

  1.  (1) When you select this check box, nested comments (even across multiple lines) are allowed, e.g. (* comment 1 (* comment 2*) comment 3 *).
  2.  (2) An error message is output when the result of a function is undefined and this result is used for the EN input of the next subsquent function.
  3.  (3) When you select this check box, an error message is displayed when the user assigns several global variables of the same data type (normally erroneously) to the same address.

    Example

Two global variables of the type BOOL on R0 cause an error message. Two global variables of the type INT and WORD on DT0 do not cause an error message.

  4.  (4) Duplicate use of the same instance of a standard function block (e.g. timers, counters) will output an error or warning message.
  5.  (5) Activate this check box to output an error or warning message when the address alignment does not match the rules for Boolean variables of the compiler.
