HTTP client

The HTTP client function is used to transmit data between PLC and WEB servers using the HTTP communication. It enables the communication with WEB servers.

Four WEB servers can be set.
Sixteen transfer settings can be registered.

Three transfer modes are available:

Mode		Description
1	Upload (to the server)	Uploads data in the operation memory to WEB servers.
2	Download (from the server)	Downloads data from WEB servers and reflects the values in the operation memory.
3	Upload and download	Downloads data from WEB servers after uploading the data in the operation memory, and reflect the values in the operation memory.

Double-click HTTP client in the project navigator

Basic settings

Activate the option Use HTTP client function to open the dialog for HTTP settings
The drop-down lists Unit and HTTP server profile are active
Select Add to open the HTTP server settings dialog
Up to four HTTP servers can by set and allocated to an HTTP server ID.
Enter the following settings:
- HTTP server
  
  Enter the destination IP address or host name, and specify the port number.
- Login
  
  Enter the user name and password.
- Communication
  - Use SSL3/TSL1: Activate/deactivate
  - Connection timeout: 30 to 300 seconds
  - No. of retries: 0 to 3 times
  - Retry interval: 10 to 86400 seconds / 1 to 1440 minutes / 1 to 24 hours)
