Selection of variables for data recording

Overview

Variables for which data needs to be recorded are registered on the right part of the Data recording window.

Select a desired LOG file number
Double-click or drag and drop a variable from the Variables pane
Enter a desired decimal place (0-11 depending on the data type)
Enter the Data name to be displayed in the Data recording window
Max. 16 characters supported by FP7
Enter, if desired, a comment
Max. 8 characters supported by FP7
Enter a unit for the data, e.g. mA
Max. 8 characters supported by FP7
Repeat the registration of all desired variables for each LOG file number.

Tip

Use drag and drop or copy and paste to copy variables between LOG file numbers or to re-arrange the order of the variables within a LOG file
Max. 500 variables can be registered in one LOG file number.
Use Insert variable from the context menu to insert variables from Variables pane, press the <Del> key to delete them.
