Copying setting data from SD card to PLC

The data recording settings can either be copied to the execution memory RAM/ROM1 or executed directly from the SD card.

Insert the SD card into the CPU unit
To copy the data recording settings to the PLC, do one of the following:
- To copy the data recording settings to the execution memory RAM/ROM1, set the operation mode selector of the CPU unit to COPY (right-hand side) until the SD LED and COPY LED flash.
- To run the auto execution files directly from the SD card, set the operation mode selector of the CPU unit to RUN and the card operation switch to CARD

Tip

The data recording settings are saved in the non-volatile memory ROM1 in the CPU unit as a part of the project data. However, they are not saved in the non-volatile memory ROM during the SD card operation.
