MEWNET-F I/O map

Each slave must be configured, i.e. entered into the address list. There are two options:

Uploading I/O maps in online mode from the PLC

  1. Online > Online mode
  2. Double-click PLC in the navigator.
  3. Double-click MEWNET-F I/O map
  4. Upload from PLC...
  5. Select desired upload option

Entering I/O maps manually

  1. Double-click PLC in the navigator.
  2. Double-click MEWNET-F I/O map
  3. Select master (Master 1, Master 2 ...)

    The number of slots available for each slave is displayed. If a slave is present, Used is displayed under Base.

  4. For Base, enter a word number (0–127)
  5. Select desired slave
  6. Configure...
    A dialog box appears with a schematic of the backplane with the slots on which the units can be mounted.
  7. Set total number of slots in Number of slots
    Vacant slots are grayed and marked with 3 asterisks (***).
  8. Select desired slot
  9. Define
  10. Select desired unit type
  11. OK
  12. Repeat for all other units
  13. To save your settings in the Slave I/O map configuration dialog, select OK
  14. OK

    You can save the I/O configuration with the project, compile it and transfer it into the PLC or, if you are in online mode, transfer the I/O configuration directly into the PLC with Online > Download program code and PLC configuration to PLC .
