Creating a new POU

Under Type, select a POU type

Type	Description
Program (PRG)	Program task: Specify the task to which you want assign the POU
Function (FUN)	EN/ENO: Select whether you want to add EN/ENO pins to the function Result Type: Specify the data type of the function's return value
Function block (FB)	EN/ENO: Select whether you want to add EN/ENO pins to the function block

POU name and type are automatically displayed in the navigator.The header and the body of the POU are displayed. They are opened in one common programming window in which the length of the header can be adjusted by dragging the header/body splitter.To display extended information in the Project pane, select Display from the context menu, or select the item in the navigator options.
