Assigning operators

To assign operators, you can either select an operator from the Variables pane or enter the name of an operator directly in the editor.

Selecting operators from the Variables pane

Select the text between question marks
Press <F2>
The Variables pane is opened.
Use the sorting and filter settings to expedite programming
Double-click selected variable or select Insert variable from the context menu
The text between question marks is overwritten.
- For function block instances, a template with all parameters required is automatically inserted.
- To create a new variable, select New variable... from the context menu.

Tip

All elements recently used are added to a list. Press<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<v> in the programming window to display this list. The contents of the list may vary depending on the programming context.
