Assign new action or variable to a step

  1. Select step
  2. Tools > Zoom into
    The Actions window is opened.
  3. Enter action name
  4. Tools > Zoom into
    The New action dialog is opened.
  5. Under Language, select a programming language
  6. OK
    A programming window for the action's body is opened.
  7. Enter your program in the selected programming language
    The new action is listed in the POU's action pool, which is displayed in the Project pane.
  8. Close the Actions window
