Step 1: Connect the expansion units and configure the FP-I4C unit

After connecting the units, you need to configure a port redirection to the addressable internal memory areas of the FP-I4C unit.

1. Connect the expansion units to the FP-I4C unit.

   Power off the FP-I4C unit before connecting any units.

2. Open your browser and enter the URL https://[IP address]/fp_config to go to the FP-I4C application settings.

3. Go to Port > Ports and restrictions and select Add new.

4. Enter a port number. In this example, we use 32000.

5. Set COM Interface to INTERN.

   If you use more than 3 clients simultaneously, you must also change Number of clients to a higher number.

   For all other parameters, you can leave the default settings.
