With the help of the wizard, you can create a new project using Control FPWIN Pro7. You may enter any project path and provide the project with a name of your choice. See also Create a new project in the "Getting started" tutorial for beginners.
The wizard appears immediately upon starting Control FPWIN Pro7, or with
- or select New project from the start page.
- Change PLC type if necessary
Select Change PLC type... to open a dialog in which all PLC types are listed. Note that PLC types in brackets cannot be selected. With the full version of Control FPWIN Pro7, all PLC types can be selected.
- Define program (PRG)
When you program a machine, split up the programming task into smaller programs.
Under Name, specify the name for the project's first program. This program is assigned to the Programs task when the project is created. Then it is processed in each cycle by the PLC.
Under Language, select the editor type with which you would like to write your program.
- Create project or Create empty project or Cancel
To create a project containing the newly defined program, select Create project.
To create a project without any program, e.g. if you need to import objects (*.asc, *.st, *.type), select Create empty project.
