Navigator panes

Control FPWIN Pro7's navigator provides a clear overview of projects of any degree of complexity. Project objects can be accessed by double-click.

The navigator offers three different panes:

The Project pane is the standard pane for creating, editing, and viewing projects.Activate the Project pane via Window > Panes  > Project.

To display extended information in the Project pane, select Display from the context menu, or select the item in the navigator options.

To define the order in which objects are displayed in the navigator, select Sorting criteria... from the context menu. Sorting takes place from top to bottom.

Displaying variable declarations and object references

  1. Select variable or POU in navigator or in programming editor
  2. Select Go to declaration or Find references from the context menu

    Declarations and references of the objects are highlighted.

  3. Find references outputs the search hits in the Find results pane
